A 15,000m² office building designed on the triangular plot at the junction of Sanayi Caddesi and Ahmet Tevfik İleri Caddesi, within a former industrial estate in Ümraniye that is undergoing transformation.
Entrance of Hasen Office: a glazed lobby beneath the yellow zigzag terrace void, with lit office floors above, night view
Street elevation of Hasen Office: a yellow zigzag stair and terraces between two white precast blocks, with a dark brick wall behind
Distant view of Hasen Office: the dark stone-clad vertical slot separating the white facade blocks, with the surrounding roads
Corner view of Hasen Office from the avenue: white facade with vertical windows and the yellow slot at its centre, at sunset
Aerial site view of Hasen Office: the building rising within the industrial fabric, beside the junction and the park

The plan is organised around a courtyard held at the centre. On the ground floor, three shops and the car park entrance surround the 158.25m² courtyard. On the upper floors, two large office areas of 274.75m² and 224.70m² sit on either side of the courtyard; the same floor is also resolved so that it can be divided into eight separate office units ranging from 61m² to 80m². The building therefore answers both single-occupier and multi-tenant scenarios.

On the façade, two white precast blocks are separated by a vertical slit clad in dark stone. Within the slit sit a yellow-painted zigzag stair and terraces; the glazed surface of the entrance hall is set beneath the void these terraces create. The yellow line is the mark that makes the building legible from a distance among the uniform industrial masses around it.

Parking is distributed across two basement levels: the first basement holds a ramp at a 15 per cent gradient and space for 34 cars, with a further 36-car layout on the level below.
