Turkey's current economic conditions are generating significant and compounding pressures on residential production. Sustained high interest rates have driven up the cost of mortgage financing, substantially eroding the purchasing power of prospective buyers. The resulting contraction in demand has paradoxically contributed to further price inflation, while simultaneously dampening the pipeline of new housing development.
