TEM Avrasya Residences in Gaziosmanpaşa was featured in a press-launch story on Emlakta Son Dakika on 9 May 2017. The report presents the project with its BFTA Architects authorship.

Across the 18,000m² development, the facade language of the blocks was built from white frames that start and stop at varying levels. The aim was to break the monotony that eighteen repeating floor plans produce on the elevation, and to arrive at a designed city silhouette rather than the look of mass housing.

White surfaces were held at the front of the composition, while intervening dark surfaces and brick textures sharpened the contrast in both form and colour. Cutting the frames at different levels lets the height of the blocks read as a series of successive parts rather than a single vertical gesture.
