The Metro Ofis building in Pendik was published on e-architect on 14 November 2016. The UK-based e-architect publishes buildings from around the world together with their credits; the article approaches this one through the scale of the commercial strip it sits in and through its facade decisions.

The 7,500m² building stands in the Kartal–Pendik stretch of the E-5 highway. Kartal being designated a central business district, the opening of the metro, and the revaluation of former industrial parcels as large single-owner plots together triggered rapid office and residential development along this axis.

Seventy-seven office units across twenty floors were resolved in one-, two- and three-unit subdivisions. The white CNC-cut aluminium panels on the facade set up a rhythm that shifts from floor to floor. The aim was not to leave a landmark in the district but to add a considered, legible layer to a commercial fabric forming quickly out of buildings that rise independently of one another.
