The Miracle Residence housing project was published on ArchDaily on 29 April 2012. ArchDaily is among the most visited architecture publications in the world; it published the project together with its drawings, sections and photographs.
The building sits on a plot 50 metres wide and 300 metres long, running northwest to southeast. The southern end lies some 10 metres below the northern one; its long facade faces the TEM motorway to the east, while pedestrian and vehicle access is taken from the road to the north.
This narrow, elongated geometry directly shaped both the site layout and the floor plans. The fall of the ground towards the south allowed the blocks to be lined up without shading one another, and the long facade towards the motorway to be resolved in steps. The project was designed at a time when housing supply around Sabiha Gökçen Airport was rising quickly.
