Gürkan Akay’s TANIK — Through the Architect’s Eye, Through the Photographer’s Lens: Contemporary Turkish Architecture (1995–2025) was published by YEM Yayın in February 2026. Compiled from more than 2,500 buildings the architect-photographer Akay has photographed over thirty years, the 248-page selection builds a visual archive of Turkey’s recent architectural production; each building’s photographs are accompanied by the designer’s project narrative and sketches.

One of the buildings featured is EnPlaza, designed by BFTA Architects in Ümraniye. In the book, the building’s façade design and sun-shading system are published together with interior photographs and the project credits.

The book’s introductory essays are by Deniz Aslan, Murat Germen and Nevzat Sayın; it was edited by Burçin Yılmaz, with photo editing by Şenay Akay. The EnPlaza photographs are also by Gürkan Akay.
